Club 9 Sports advises, operates, and invests in sports and media opportunities. It is a joint venture between Tobacco Road Capitalists, LLC , a sports management and sports media advisory company and Prometheus Capital Partners, LLC, a middle market merchant bank.

Club 9 Sports takes an operational, hands-on approach to sports and media organizations whether they are investments or clients. Sports and media are, in the end, entertainment companies that require diligent sales/promotion and financial discipline. By focusing on operations and finances, we are able to improve the performance of client companies and generate better returns for our investors.

The professionals have deep experience in sports management, operations, turnaround management, investment banking, and private equity. Club 9 Sports is led by Jon Pritchett of Tobacco Road and John Prutch of Prometheus. Carl Scheer, three-time NBA Executive of-the-year with 40 years in sports as an owner, manager and consultant, is a senior advisor to the firm.
